• Surface coated with melamine resin:

  Melamine resin-coated chipboard has a durable and decorative surface. Melamine faced (decorative) chipboard is surface ready. They have high flexural strength and stability, are hard, non-porous and largely abrasion-resistant. They are also resistant to boiling water, hot pan bases, conventional alkalis, acids and alcohols, as well as being odorless and easy to clean.
